About The Golfers Address

It was nearly 15 years ago that I stepped off the train at Dunbar Station to visit my then-girlfriend’s family for the first time. I didn’t know it then, but that moment would quietly shape my life.

Three years ago, after a decade in London, we finally made the move north, to East Lothian, a stunning stretch of Scotland’s coast, just southeast of Edinburgh. It’s home to world-class links golf, and a quality if live I could only dream of whilst living in London.

Inspired by that move, and the idea that maybe more people could do the same, I started The Golfers Address.

This is a newsletter for people who love golf, and who dream about what it might be like to live beside the courses they play on holiday or watch on TV. Every week, we scout beautiful homes for sale near some of the world’s most iconic golf courses, from St Andrews to Scottsdale, Bandon Dunes to Biarritz.

Some people read to plan. Others read to dream. Either way, The Golfers Address is about more than just property, it’s about exploring the places where life and golf overlap in the best possible way.

A local verse from East Lothian folklore still sums it up best:

Then off through Dirleton, cool and shady,
To Muirfield, Archerfield, Aberlady.
They golfed at Gullane, on 'One' and 'Two'
They played Longniddry and Luffness New.

Welcome to The Golfers Address.
