Southwest Ireland offers a triangle of links courses so iconic they could be framed. Ballybunion, Lahinch, and Waterville. Each one wildly different, yet unmistakably Irish. Think dunes, wind, bunkers the size of sheep barns, and fairways that wander like folklore.
Add in Shannon Airport just down the road, a few luxury castles for good measure, and views that make your 7 iron feel poetic — and you start to see the appeal.
